The morning music club presents pianist, Itay Goren and violinist, Avi Nagin.
Avi Nagin, violinist, graduate of the Colburn and Yale Schools of Music has collaborated with the Ébène and Orion Quartets and appeared with the Princeton, New Haven, Greenwich and Virginia Symphony Orchestras. He recently became a substitute faculty member in The Juilliard School Pre-College Division and also serves on the faculty of the New York Youth Symphony Orchestra.
Itay Goren, pianist, studied at the Rimon School of Music in Tel Aviv and at William Patterson University, NJ. He performed solo recitals in Europe, Asia, and the US. Upcoming recitals include venues in France, Spain, Austria, and Germany. Mr. Goren is the founder and director of the Open Door Concert Series at Ramapo College, Ramapo, NJ.
The Morning Music Club (MMC) was established on January 8, 1924 by a group of professional women musicians in the Nyack area. MMC serves the community culturally, through its Concert Series; educationally, through its Music Scholarship Awards; and charitably; through its Outreach Program. Today, MMC attracts both men and women as members from Rockland and adjacent counties, and includes music lovers and patrons as well as musicians.
